On February 16th and 17th the wrestling team competed in the annual City Tournament. The team did very well and three Truman wrestlers received All-City Honors. Jonathan Rosado and Joel Lozada placed third at their respective weight classes, while Desmond Daley took home the gold medal at his weight class. As the champion at his weight class, Desmond has now earned a spot on the City Wrestling team and will represent New York City and Truman High School at the State Tournament in Rochester. If you teach or know any of these students, please take the time to congratulate them on their accomplishment.
