BRONX, NY – Two Truman students were honored by the Bronx Supreme Court with the 2015 EVOLVE Award.  EVOLVE is an acronym meaning Exceptional, Visionary, Optimistic, Leadership, Volunteerism and Education.  It is given to three-to-five young women each year.

This year, Yessenia Saavedra and Sherece Laine were selected by the committee.  They were honored at a Women’s History Month celebration in the rotunda of Veterans’ Memorial Hall.

Join us in congratulating these exceptional young women for receiving such a great honor!
