BRONX, NY – After a weekend of cold, dreary weather- visitors to the Outback Steakhouse for Monday’s Give Back event were treated to sunny skies, a crisp breeze and a taste of Australia.  The restaurant, now in it’s second week operating at the entrance to the Mall at Bay Plaza welcomed dozens of Truman faculty, staff and family members to it’s first “Give Back Night.”  A portion of each patron’s check will be donated back to the school.

The event was the first in the new relationship between the restaurant and the school.  Truman’s band played for guests outside as they approached the restaurant, and visitors were greeted with large photos, brochures, and information about the school, provided by Truman’s guidance department.

Over two dozen members of the Truman staff came out to the event on Monday.
