Students from several Spanish classes took part in the program, which included remarks from Spanish Teacher Mrs. Williams about the young Hispanic students’ role in American society, and the important part they now play in guiding the country’s future.  After her remarks, several students stood up and gave oral presentations about various well-known Hispanic Americans.  One group even shared a creative poem that they wrote.

The event wrapped up with a buffet of homemade Hispanic food – ranging from chicken to rice and empanadas.
