Join RAPP at the Anti-Street Harassment Rally!

Anti-Street Harassment Rally

April is Sexual Assault Awareness (& Activism) Month. Truman’s RAPP Coordinator will be attending the rally, and if Peer Leaders and students are interested in attending, stop by the RAPP room, 425-A, for a consent form on Friday. This is a wonderful event where you can earn community service hours by actively engaging in outreach activities. See below for information from Hollaback’s facebook invite.

Do you want to stand up against street harassment? Are you disturbed by the increased attacks on Muslims, immigrants, and other marginalized folks under the new administration? Are you against all acts of sexual assault and gender-based violence?

Then join Hollaback! on Saturday, April 8th for our 5th annual Anti-Street Harassment Rally, a part of International Anti-Street Harassment Week. Come hear speakers, take in performances, and attend a break-out session to learn something new. MC’d by La Roka aka “Rockafella”, pioneering B-Girl and performing artist.

Local speakers and performers will address gender-based and anti-Muslim harassment, culture change, and fighting back against misogyny and white supremacism. They include:
