BRONX, NY – Despite a weekend of relentless winter weather and significant snow accumulation, Harry S Truman High School officially opened its doors for the Spring term this morning. Students braved the freezing temperatures to collect their new class schedules and settle into their second-semester routines.
The atmosphere inside the building was one of resilience and excitement. As the first bells rang, classrooms quickly filled with students eager to meet their new teachers and begin their upcoming coursework.
The smooth opening of the term was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Truman custodial staff. Working throughout the storm and into the early morning hours, the team ensured that all campus sidewalks and parking facilities were plowed, salted, and cleared of hazards. Their hard work provided a safe environment for students, faculty, and staff to return to campus without delay.
As the Spring term gets underway, the school reminds all students to check their official school emails for any further updates regarding schedule adjustments or upcoming extracurricular meetings.
