Sylvan Learning Center Invites Truman Families to Summer Learning Open House

BRONX, NY – Harry S Truman High School families looking to enhance their children’s academic and creative skills over the upcoming break are invited to partner with a local educational leader. Sylvan Learning of the Northeast Bronx has announced it will host a hybrid Summer Learning Open House on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

The open house is designed to introduce community families to Sylvan’s interactive, STEAM-based summer programming. The upcoming summer curriculum focuses on strengthening essential student skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, while incorporating hands-on creativity and robotics projects to keep learning engaging during the vacation months.

The event will be hosted in a hybrid format, allowing parents to participate either in person or virtually. Families interested in attending can register online through Eventbrite, using the QR code on the posters below, after which virtual meeting links will be provided. The physical center is located nearby at 115A Dreiser Loop in the Co-op City section of the Bronx.

As an exclusive incentive for local families, Sylvan Learning announced that those who attend the open house and submit a program deposit by the conclusion of the event on May 30th will receive a 10% discount on their total summer tuition. Truman High School encourages all interested parents to take advantage of this local community resource to support continuous student achievement.
